***( I HAVE MY PS3 CONNECTED VIA ETHERNET CABLE NOT WIRELESS )*** Heres how I changed my NAT type to open for my ps3 with a Belkin wireless G Plus MIMO router, 1st on ps3 main page click SETTINGS/ SYSTEM SETTINGS/ SYSTEM INFORMATION for your ps3 IP address. 2nd click Start, then in start search box type run, then in the next box type cmd, then in the black box type ipconfig (this is for your routers IP address) this will be right of the words default gateway eg (192.168.2.1 ) 3rd Type this number into your web browers for your routers home page. Goto firewall and underneath should be DMZ click this, then when here put the last number of your ps3 IP address from stage 1, then click enable and then apply changes. The next set (if you want to do it) under Utilities click on system settings, then click enable and appy changes. I hope this & my video helps. please RATE and COMMENT :)
